Kuroshitsuji season 2 how is ciel alive
Why would I be? It turns out that the original Ciel Phantomhive, heir to the fortune and head of the family, also died while being tortured and was killed so that Sebastian could be summoned. The entire country gets mad and turns on Ciel and Sebastian, forcing them to run. If you want to skip the anime original episodes and only watch the cannon parts of the show, then watch Black Butler episodes 1—6 and 13—15 and skip Black Butler II entirely.
While the established characters did make a return, all of their character development was botched for the sake of continuing what felt like someone else's story. While the first season played out a mystery by subtly leaving clues for the audience to pick up on, eventually weaving all the pieces into a complete puzzle, the second season was anything but subtle, putting exposition before all else. But this lack of subtlety also applies to the supernatural elements.
In season one, Sebastian is discreet in his work as knowledge of demons and the supernatural is not common, creating an epic secrecy as these events happen in the shadows. However, in season two, these elements are out in the open where any regular civilian could stumble upon them at any moment, leaving one to wonder how no one's accidentally discovered the existence of these demon butlers. In the end, the explanation as to why Ciel's soul was stolen is that Sebastian was accused of causing a series of events that led to the destruction of Alois's village and his younger brother's death.
However, later it is revealed that Sebastian had nothing to do with it and Hannah was the real culprit, making viewers ponder what the point of this season was except to haphazardly bring Sebastian and Ciel back to secure viewership.
While the ending to the first season was solid and gave a satisfying conclusion, the ending to the second season seemed tragic and was anything but satisfying, leaving many fans confused and disappointed.
Instead of making an anime-only season to appease fans, it would've made more sense to adapt arcs in the manga to remain character consistent and to give manga readers what they had been asking for. Despite Ciel's methods, the audience understands his rage as a result of pain and trauma, seeking revenge but leaving innocent people alone. Alois, on the other hand, is cruel for no other reason than shock value and to establish himself as the season's antagonist. While the first season built a mystery by subtly leaving hints for the audience to pick up on, ultimately weaving all of the pieces together to form a complete puzzle, the second season was anything but subtle, prioritising exposition over everything else.
However, the supernatural elements suffer from the same lack of subtlety. In season two, these elements are out in the open, where any ordinary civilian could come across them at any time, leaving one to wonder how these demon butlers have gone unnoticed. In the end, the reason Ciel's soul was stolen was that Sebastian was accused of causing a chain of events that resulted in the destruction of Alois' village and the death of his younger brother. But that is my question. How can there possibly be a second season?
Soul eaten. Game over. Black Butler Answers. Thus, Ciel is souless, the beggining season 2 is based on how Sebastian get his soul back. LordCeil said: what if he didn't eat his soul and just gave him a kiss or just did something else because in the second season i have heard something amazing happens.
