Is it possible to join the mythic dawn
Inside the museum are the cult's signature robes, a page of the Mysterium Xarxes and all four tomes of the Mythic Dawn Commentaries. Talking with him will trigger the Pieces Of The Past daedric quest. Revealed during Oblivion's main questline, the cult's initiation is extremely complex.
A would-be initiate first has to obtain the four tomes of the Mythic Dawn Commentaries. Easier said than done since the first two are rare, the third is even rarer but could be obtained through special orders while the fourth must be obtained from an actual member, called sponsors, and must be deemed worthy by them.
After doing this they then have to solve a puzzle in order to reveal the location of their hideout. A creepy thing that can be noticed in the game is that the Mythic Dawn has spies embedded throughout the cities of Cyrodiil.
These agents blend in perfectly within society and only strike at just the right moment. This moment comes after the player completes the quest, Dagon shrine. If the player suddenly gets attacked by people in the signature enchanted armor, chances are they were one of these sleeper agents.
Just about anyone can join the Mythic Dawn, but like most cults and shady groups it seems they might target those who are considered societal degenerates. An example of this is a wood elf named Cingor in Leyawiin. Cingor is a member of the fighter's guild who cannot be found in the city's guild hall oddly enough. Otherwise, you will be forced to leave the faction at a later stage of this quest when it comes time for your initiation.
The Mythic Dawn has only two ranks that appear in your journal: "Initiate" when you come to the Dagon Shrine; and "Acolyte" if you decide to kill the Argonian sacrifice Jeelius. The Mythic Dawn believe Mankar Camoran to be a prophet of the end times; they follow the teachings of his Commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes. Camoran is known as the "Master" by members of the cult and was supposedly given the Mysterium Xarxes by Mehrunes Dagon himself. Camoran's son, Raven Camoran , is responsible for potential members, while his daughter Ruma is in charge of initiation.
When you enter the caverns, your journal updates you that the Mythic Dawn shrine must be somewhere inside. Oblivion — 50 ; can be higher depending on skill levels, class, and birthsign. Skyrim — However, the hard limit is level 65, see below. Despite being a Lich, Mannimarco still has his Altmer body. The primary advantage of joining the Blades is that you can use anything in Cloud Ruler Temple beds, a free horse, free weapons in the Armory, books, etc. You are given an Akaviri Katana upon joining.
There is no advancement in this faction, nor are there any associated quests. Dagoth eventually lost the duel which ended with Nerevar being mortally wounded. This is where reports differ. One legend states that after finding the Tribunal and making them swear not to use the tools of Kagrenac on the Heart, the Tribunal murdered Nerevar.
The battle with Miraak is scripted. After killing a dragon and absorbing its soul, he will regain full health and continue the fight. In order to become a member of the Mythic Dawn, one would first have to obtain each of the four Commentaries on the Mysterium Xarxes. The first two volumes are rare, while the Third and Fourth volume are considered impossible to obtain. Through combining the first letter of every paragraph in the books, the hidden message is made clear: "Green Emperor Way Where Tower Touches Midday Sun".
Upon arrival the Shrine, one is greeted by a doorkeeper saying "Dawn is breaking". By answering "Greet the new day", the first test is completed. Afterwards, the initiate is met by a recruiter. By this point, refusal to join results in being attacked by the members of the cult. As such, they support Mehrunes Dagon's attempt at reclaiming the land, which they consider occupied.
Mehrunes Dagon is seen as a liberator, and the Mythic Dawn use the weakness of the Aedra, and the power of the Daedric Lords, as evidence to support their claims. They see the Divines as traitors who murdered Lorkhan, while seeing the Daedra as the true gods of Tamriel.
As further support of this claim, it is pointed out how Tamriel has always been a contested ground, a land of Change. Fitting for a Daedric Lord.
