Should i play pvp or pve

PvE is for those who dont want PvP. If there is no PvP, then the main objective of PvE would be to build. Environment PvE is a mode where players are unable to directly damage another player. Posted September 30, Small tribes means no large tribes. The tribe size is capped at 6 and alliances are officially against the rules.

It also has 3x rates so its easier to farm and tame. Hi, according to Community Crunch [survivetheark. There are limitations as to how the Transfers work: All items, dinos and survivors can only be transferred within the server cluster.

If you want to start a new server to run it how you want, good for you, but you can recruit and advertise just like every other server out there and build your own player base.

Alliances add players and creatures to the whitelist for AI, as if they were in the same tribe. Allied dinos cannot hurt each other with their attacks, so you can fight together without killing each other.

You can find it in your tribe settings. Then have the founder or admin of the new tribe invite the owner of the old tribe. Can you PvP in a PvE server? Is PvE better than PvP? Can you PvP on a normal server wow? Unknown amount of players doing single player, all of them are PVE players.

So I would say the numbers are kinda the opposite, the majority of players are PVE players by a large margin. Serangel View Profile View Posts. Originally posted by Xandor :. Its an intresting subject regardless of the actualy numbers, i also totally forgot the SP player base, witch despite its issues is also still rather large it feels like.

PvE is good for little babies and carebears who want to build things that look pretty. Guess this is still kinda official but I only ever play singleplayer I prefer to be the only one on my map to have my pick of choice base location plus dinos. Downside caves are empty of creatures due to some bug in singleplayer but guess it will make it easier to reach assension. Just my thoughts anyway I figure singleplayer is kinda still official servers??

EDIT: I use no mods at all on my game its all vanilla. Or for those who have a job, a family, and a life I guess. Reviving this topic because the conversation started elsewhere and now I really want to see what draws people, specifically to PVP since I just can't see how anyone can enjoy PVP official I do solo, so PvE. I do so because I like the freedom of being able to play the way I want without limitations and restrictions, or without other people messing my stuff up, OCD can be a punk.

Plus I can tweak my settings to make up for the lack of tribe mates. I refuse to do PvP because Ark requires one to put many many MANY hours into building your base, taming and breeding dinos, harvesting resources and building numerous things.

To spend so much time gathering things just to put it at risk in PvP is foolish imo. All those hours just for it to be all torn down in a matter of minutes. Not to mention alpha tribe and "cheater" bullying. I played PvP for 1. PvP is not for solo players. Now 3k hours on PvE server, because I play with my 9 years old son. PvP is too harsh for him. But after initially finding it boring I discovered other ways to play this game - building is more fun, got involved in breeding more, people seem much nicer too.

Yes I miss PvP bit sometimes. Official PvE , Breeding, exploring, building, buying and selling Blueprints, dinos and stats, in a game like ark where the endgame starts about hours in, PvE is the way to go for me, im Hours in and even tho the last weeks i have mostly refreshed waiting for mk3 i still really like the game, even tho we get screwed time and time again, Mega,Kapro,Tuso-grab; PvP "rebalancing" PvE is currently the mode to really experience the game, not the janky and laggy PvP side.

Started out on official PvP , with the expectation of fun and challenging pvp and baseraids, but the cancerous experience of official pvp wasnt for me, it was mainly noobbashing and offlineraiding, paired with the need to farm bullets and turrets to hope to exist in the morning, not fun at all, also it seemed to me it was almost impossible to properly play ark on a PvP server, eggfarms were always kinda small, and with the farming times increasing by a lot, i dont think i would ever go back,.

PvP for several reasons. If someone blocks a spawn I can blow their crap up to let said spawn come back. Nobody can pillar me in without me again blowing their stuff up. You can pick wild dinos and bring them to a taming pen so you don't have to sit in the wild, at least for most dinos. This one just tickles the troll in me but, because I can smack down an 'alpha' tribe led by a bunch of children who think they are hard.

Along the lines of 4 but I can wipe a dupers base, yea he will likely go at it again but after so many times of being wiped daily several times a day.

He'll have been tortured enough to find a different server to dupe on. Official PvE. It just makes it easier to build and breed without having to worry what's happening while i'm offline. I was wondering where all the fellow PVE 'ers were at. I am enjoying seeing both sides of the story though. Keep it up! Like most of you has already mentioned, Ark takes way too much time and if you wan't to be up there in a PvP server, the only way is to join an already established Alpha tribe or not have a Job or a social life.

I've put about 1. I prefer OfficialPVP, The rush of going against big tribes that has a lot of gear and creatures, while you only have simpler gear. That's the best part of the game for me. Gives me adrenaline.
